Night Song Siberian Rescue

NightSong is nestled in a valley among the rolling hills of the Palouse.

As you drive in, you'll see miles of golden or green wheat fields.  But the hills immediately surrounding Susan's are not farmland so long walks across the hills are perfectly ok.    Don't get lost.

The windmills juxtapose the old and the new.  It is somehow awe inspiring to see.  And it is even more powerful when you are there, listening to the dogs sing and watching the windmills quietly turn.

Address is 448 Willow Creek Road, DAYTON, WA. 99328

So...  are you coming?  Have you decided yet?  Well, let us know!!
How we gonna know if you don't tell us?

DIRECTIONS, courtesy of John Aurand who we thank so much for so many things these days!!

From the Tri-Cities;

Take I182 east, changes to Highway 12. Go over the Snake River east
of Pasco. Just over the Snake River take a left at the stop light on
to State Highway 124. The speed limit will be 40 as you pass through
Burbank and Burbank Heights. It will then change to 60 and then 65.
You will reach Prescott on Highway 124 in a bit over 30 minutes. The
speed limit drops to 35 through Prescott. In another 8-9 miles you
will reach Waitsburg. The speed limit first drops to 35 then 25. When
you reach the stop sign turn right and then a quick left. You are now
on State Highway 12 east. At the next stop sign the traffic coming at
you and from the right does not stop so use caution. When safe
proceed straight ahead on 12 east. In about 10 miles you will reach
Dayton. First the speed limit drops to 35 then 25. (By the way you
are in Columbia County and they have a LOT of Sheriff's patrolling
Highway 12 including in Dayton) As you go through Dayton locate the
Conoco on your left. From here it is about 9.5 miles to the turn off
onto Willow Creek Road. Proceed out of Dayton on Highway 12 east. You
will make two smallish climbs. When you reach the top of the second
one you are starting to get close. On the downhill side start looking
for mile marker 376. About 200-300 meters past the marker you will
see Willow Creek Road, turn right. You have about 4 miles to go on
Willow Creek. Please be kind to the people that live on Willow Creek
and slow down near their homes as to lesson the dust cloud. The first
thing that will see at Susan's in the big red barn. There will be
plenty of signs.

Also, please be aware that Dayton is hosting a classic car show this
weekend. They may have a detour through town. If this is the case
they will detour you probably to the right down residential streets.
When the detour ends they will be putting you back on Highway 12. You
will be turning left onto 12. This is of course assuming that they
have a detour and it is the same as the last time I experienced one
there.

Enjoy!
